We get asked this question everywhere we go! "How did you guys meet?" "When did this happen?" And we never get tired of answering! The simple answer is that God divinely brought us together: two countries, one purpose. Neither one of us was looking for love to happen, but had hearts to expect it. Here goes! "A few years ago, Sam's sister and brother-in-law had just moved to the States from England when Brittany met them through a mutual friend. After nearly a year of building a new friendship with the sister through casual lunches and social media, Brittany saw a post of him on her Instagram and thought to herself, who is that cutie?! Without saying a word, and after months without speaking with his sister, she reached out the next day—yes the NEXT day—inquiring of a lunch date. Now, the impeccable timing of this lunch inquiry could seem coincidental, but no—God was definitely up to something. Weeks later during that lunch filled with good pancakes and "girl talk," the sister mentioned how Sam was coming to the States to visit! Unbeknownst to Brittany, on the exact same day of the lunch, Samuel—in England—had been in prayer about his future, marriage and love. So, the connection was made, their DM's were lit, he made his way to the States, and the rest is their history! Their first date on his visit last September was 10 hours long and felt unlike any other. They've been inseparable since, well at least in spirit.
