We met through the dating app, Tinder. For anyone who is unfamiliar with Tinder, you set a radius and others in your radius will pop up on your screen. You look at five pictures of another person, read their biography and decide if you want to "swipe right." If both parties swipe right, you match up and can start talking. WELL, my radius was not set to New Hampshire (I'm not that desperate, right?). Duncan happened to be at a party in Boston the night we matched on Tinder, so he was in my radius. And wouldn't you know that he doesn't even remember swiping right on me because he was too intoxicated. How romantic, right? Well a few weeks went by and he didn't message me. Doesn't remember swiping on me and doesn't make the first move? C'mon. So I messaged him and asked if he was too much of a man to send the first message? We began talking and Duncan decided to make the trek down to meet me (and immediately meet my family too). His brother was the only person who knew he was coming down to meet a girl he met online. Some people are embarrassed that they met their significant other online, but I couldn't be happier.
