Born in California and raised in Texas, Brittany and Nathan first met at Highland Park High School. Their relationship began as tennis teammates and orchestra stand partners. Their friendship grew during senior year, sharing mutual interests in computer science and Disney. Brittany indirectly asked Nathan to the ‘Crush Party’, and Nathan asked Brittany to Prom shortly after. They both left to California, Brittany to the University of California San Diego and Nathan to Stanford University, where they ended up studying Human Computer Interactions via their respective majors in Cognitive Science and Computer Science. Despite the distance, the two managed to find ways to spend time together at family gatherings, spring breaks, and annual trips to Disneyland. After four years of long-distance, the couple finally reunited in Redmond, Washington. There, they embraced new activities like skiing, bouldering, and hosting dinner parties. Their journey continued to Los Angeles, where they have now made their home. Nathan orchestrated a breathtaking proposal for Brittany in Tokyo, Japan last spring. To reach the final proposal spot, with the iconic Tokyo Tower as a backdrop, Brittany spent a day on a scavenger hunt with her friends, collecting handwritten notes that reflected precious moments in their relationship. The excitement continues as Brittany and Nathan eagerly anticipate celebrating with everyone at their Los Angeles wedding reception in September!
