Why are there two venues and ceremonies?

Answer

We are celebrating the merge of both our religions and cultures. We will be having a Hindu ceremony on Friday at The Forum and the Christian ceremony at Legacy Farms in Lebanon. All guest are invited to join us at both ceremonies, but we ask that you RSVP for each one. The ceremonies are held at two different locations. What is the best way to get to and from the venues?

Answer

There is plenty of parking at the venues. There are also a lot of Ubers and Lyfts in the area. With the number of guests traveling in, we are providing transportation on Saturday to and from the Comfort Inn in Goodlettsville and Legacy Farms. For those interested please let us know when you RSVP.

What time should I arrive to the venues?

On Friday, we ask that all guests arrive at The Forum at 3:00 pm for the Indian ceremony. On Saturday, we ask that all guests arrive to Legacy Farms at 4:00 pm for the Christian ceremony.

What is the dress code on Friday?

Answer

For Friday's ceremony we ask you wear either Formal Indian attire or semi-formal attire. To honor Hindu tradition, women are asked to avoid wearing white, black, and red - men may where black suits. It is encouraged to wear bright and festive colors.

What is the dress code on Saturday?

Answer

For Saturday's ceremony and reception we ask that you wear semi-formal attire. Please avoid wearing jeans or shorts. Please avoid wearing white or a similar color. The ceremony is expected to be held outside followed by a cocktail hour. The reception will be indoors. Don't forget your dancing shoes!

Am I allowed a plus one?

Answer

A guest is welcome to bring a plus one only if their name is included on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding as we work to accommodate all of our guests.

Are children invited?

Answer

Children are invited only if they are specifically named on the invitation. We thank you for respecting our wishes as we plan for an intimate celebration.

What if I have food allergies or restrictions?

Answer

We will be having a variety of foods to accommodate both cultures. We will have a traditional Indian meal following the ceremony in Friday. We will be having vegetarian options at both meals. If there is further restrictions, please reach out and let us know so we can make sure you're tummy is happy and full!
