Will the ceremony and reception be in different locations?

Answer

Yes we will be having the ceremony and reception in different locations. Unfortunately we fell in love with the ceremony’s location that has a very strict guest count due to it being on a cliff by the beach. We apologize for the inconvenience as we would’ve loved to have you all there. Although, you are free to come to La Jolla beach and watch as it is a public area.

Answer

Si, el recepción y ceremonia van a ser en diferentes lugares. Afortunadamente la ceremonia no permite mucha gente en la locación debido a las reglas de la ciudad debido a eso, los asientos son bien limitados. Perdón por la inconveniencia.

Where is the ceremony/reception parking?

Answer

For Ceremony: Theres only public street parking. It’s by the beach so it’s always difficult to find parking! I suggest to arrive up to 20 minutes earlier due to traffic and parking. For Reception: Unfortunately there’s no parking available on site, although Holiday Inn Express next-door offers underground parking for $10 per car. You can also find public street parking.

No hay parking en el recepción, sólo en el calle público. En lado de el recepción el hotel Holiday Inn Express ofrece parking por $10 por carro.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress to impress! Our wedding is formal or black tie optional, meaning women should wear floor length dresses or gowns. Men should wear formal tuxedos or suits. Preferred colors are black, olive green, Sage green, burgundy, mauve pink, or any shades of light pink. In February, it does get colder so don’t forget your jacket!

Vestidos y Trajes formales. Colores preferidos son verde salvia, verde oliva, rosa, y negro. En el tiempo de febrero se pone frío so no se olviden su chamarra!

In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only the guest formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated.

Debido al espacio limitado en el lugar sólo podemos acomodar a los que están invitados formalmente. Si recibió un +1 , aparecerá en su invitación. Nos encantaría mantener esta boda como un evento íntimo con nuestra familiar más cercana y amigos.

Since the ceremony is at the beach, will it be directly on sand?

Answer

Ceremony is taking place on a cliff by the beach on grass. Be prepared to walk down a few stairs to get to the location.

Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you! Please arrange transportation from the venue if you plan on drinking.
