The blue mountains is only a train trip away! you can catch a train from Penrith to Katoomba or further!
- see the three sisters
- catch the 686 bus from katoomba to get a little closer to some walks like the Katoomba Falls circuit or the 685 to get closer to Wentworth falls
- There are plenty of walks accessible from the train
- visit scenic world
-shop antiques in blackheath
- you can hire a bike and do a guided mountain bike trail ride (this has been on the "to do" list for a while)
