How We Met

8/16/12

We actually met on our very first day of college! After moving into our dorm, my roommates and I met up with a friend from our high school to check out his new dorm room. Through the powers of fate, Stephen was matched up with my high school friend as a "random roommate". We met. An instant connection was made. It was as if we had known each other for ever and we never let each other go.

The Loves of Our Lives

1/29/15

On January 29th 2015, our most amazing gifts from God were born. Our twin daughters, Adalynn Rose and Kylee Marie, have turned our lives upside down but we wouldn't change it for the world! We could not imagine life without them and we thank them for molding us into the people we our today. Our wedding is not only an important day for Stephen and I, but also an important day for our daughters as well. It is the day that not only our two hearts become one, but also the day that our family is whole.

The Proposal

10/06/2018

On our yearly "fall break" family vacation to Destin, Stephen won all the points by completely surprising me with our engagement. Y'all, I seriously had no idea! Stephen had to go back to our room to "get his wallet" and missed the shuttle to the beach. I, of course, was worried but my family and I were all trying to enjoy one of our last guaranteed good days at the beach. Hurricane Michael was coming and we were experiencing Red Tide (look it up) lol. When Stephen finally made his way to the beach we were having such a fun time! Dancing, singing, splashing, and finding seashells. Addy and Kylee were becoming experts at finding seashells, so when Stephen and the girls told me they found something I thought nothing out of the usual! The girls pulled me across the beach gleaming with excitement "Mommy, Mommy look what we found!!!". They found a huge shell that I assumed contained a hermit crab. When I turned it over, my ring was glimmering in the sun light. "Marry Me" by Train was playing in the background. The girls telling me "Mommy there's a ring in there!". Stephen was down on one knee. "Brittany, the love of my life, will you marry me?" *Instant tears* It was truly magical. Of course, I said "Yes!". And now, here we are! We are so excited to celebrate starting this next chapter of our lives with you!
