Small seaside town about 30 minutes south of Norwich. A great place to walk around, do some shopping, and eat some ice cream! There is also a nice aquarium and a seaport museum that offers harbor tours.
Mohegan Sun & Foxwoods Casinos
CT
Just south of Norwich there are two huge casinos, Mohegan and Foxwoods. Foxwoods has a larger variety of things to do (go karts, top golf (simulator), outlet shopping, etc) while Mohegan has better food (in our opinion) and better theming.
