FAQs

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

Please dress modestly and respectfully for a church ceremony; church-appropriate semi-formal attire. Shoulders covered is appreciated but not required!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving 30 minutes before the ceremony

Question

Do I need to be Catholic to attend?

Answer

Not at all! Everyone is welcome. Whether you're Catholic, another faith, or none at all — your presence means the world to us. In the Catholic Church, only practicing Catholics in a state of grace receive Communion. If you’re not Catholic (or not receiving), feel free to remain seated or come forward with arms crossed over your chest to receive a blessing.

Question

Is there anything I need to do during the ceremony?

Answer

The congregation will sit, stand, and kneel at certain times. Feel free to follow along as you're comfortable — a program will be provided to help guide you. No pressure to participate beyond what you feel okay with!

Question

Are photos or videos allowed during the ceremony?

Answer

Please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We have a photographer/videographer capturing everything so you can relax and be present. You’ll get to enjoy the beautiful moments afterward!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

A cash bar will be available throughout the reception.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Yes! Children are welcome. We kindly ask that if a little one gets especially vocal, you feel free to step into the church vestibule.
