March 11, 2016 was the first day we met. Robert came to my house in his loud yellow mustang, introduced himself to my parents, and we drove to Half Moon in Kennett Square. There, we shared a drink, talked, and tried not to embarrass ourselves while eating crab nachos. That instantly became "our spot"! It's there where he asked me to officially be his girlfriend a few months later, where we would spend our anniversary dinners, and go whenever we wanted delicious food. That restaurant still holds a place in our hearts even though it is no longer there. Two years flies by, including a trip to Florida, Colorado, Kennett Brewfests, beach trips, Flyers and Eagles games, and so many other exciting moments we shared along the way. The best by far, was finding out we were going to be parents! In January of 2019 we welcomed our beautiful little girl into the world, Courtney Elizabeth. Later that same year, on my 28th birthday, and after Robert picking up on many obvious hints, he decides to plan the most romantic proposal ever. I was in 5th grade lunch duty, listening to the kids sing Happy Birthday when I turned around and saw Robert carrying Courtney in one hand and roses in the next. I thought he was surprising me for my birthday, well he was, he just added a proposal in the mix! The kids are screaming, all my colleagues are in the cafeteria, and Robert gets down on one knee and asks me to marry him. In front of everyone. It took me a few minutes to realize what was happening, then said yes and planted a big 'ole kiss on him! Fast forward, now here we are with two beautiful little girls and a big day to celebrate our love. We absolutely love the life we are building together and cannot wait to join with close friends and family to celebrate this special day. We hope to see everyone there! Love, Robert and Brittany
