Being two young kids, we did not know what love was. Nor were we ready for any big commitment. We were just 14 years old living our best lives in 8th grade. Towards the end of the year, we were being teacher's pets and cleaning bookshelf to prep for the next year. Neither one of us had a clue each other existed but we got introduced by mutual friends. Of course, I just had to clean a shelf with Brittany and show her how it was done. You can say we really hit it off. However, neither of us made a move after that. We said our goodbyes without exchanging numbers. Until, Brittany found Richy on Facebook later that day & sent him a message asking for his phone number. Yes! Brittany slid in Richy's DMs. From that day on, everything is history and eventually Richy asked Brittany to be his girlfriend on August 25th 2011.

Richy decided to take Brittany on a "camping trip" & made a whole itinerary. Yes, he made an itinerary. Part of the scheduled trip was to have a picnic on a cliff. The idea was to take nice pictures of the picnic so Brittany could post them on her social media. However, Richy had a whole different plan. He had brought some friends along as a decoy to throw off Brittany that this was a friend trip. He secretly brought a whole picnic set up, “marry me” letters, hired a secret photographer, and of course a ring. And Brittany still did not have single clue. Eventually, Richy finally popped the question after almost 10 years at a place that Brittany & Richy talked about for years.
