We’re getting married!

Ray (Brittany’s dad) and Kristen (Reese’s mom) worked together in April of 2017. Ray gave Brittany’s phone number to Kristen to give to Reese. That day Reese text me and we talked all of the time. Reese traveled to Denver from Pueblo to meet me for our first date. He picked me up at my apartment complex. We drank Starbucks at a nearby park for our first date. We instantly clicked. We continued to talk every single day and hangout when I would go to Pueblo. On May, 1, 2017, Reese asked me to be his girlfriend. On July 2, 2017 we said I love you for the first time. The rest is history. God put us in each other’s lives for a reason. We are so excited to get married and start a new chapter of our life together.

On Saturday, October 10, 2020 we went to dinner. After dinner we did some shopping for our dog’s birthday which was the following day. All seemed totally normal. When we arrived home I walked in to our song (Poetry by Wrabel) playing on our home speaker. Rose petals led me to a sign saying “Marry Me.” Reese got down on one knee and asked me. I was in complete shock and awe. I cried happy tears. I’ve never been happier. The moment was so special. I get to marry my best friend.
