Welcome to Our Wedding!

It all started on a summer night in Atlantic City. Rafael and I were both out with friends, just enjoying the music, lights, and laughter that filled the air. Neither of us had any idea that this would be the night that changed everything. I remember catching his eye across the room—a small, electric moment that felt like it had been waiting to happen. We ended up striking up a conversation, and from the very first words, it was clear we had a spark. We spent the night laughing, sharing stories, and realizing just how much we had in common. It felt like we had known each other for years, even though we’d only just met. Our first date followed soon after, where we talked endlessly over dinner, losing track of time. Each date after that only confirmed what we both already knew: we had found something truly special in each other. Together, we went on countless adventures, made incredible memories, and supported each other through every challenge that came our way. Fast forward to the day of our engagement—Rafael planned the perfect proposal, one that was filled with love, thoughtfulness, and the same kind of magic we felt that first night. Now, as we prepare for our wedding and the life we’ll build together, we’re forever grateful for that chance night in Atlantic City that brought us together. It was July 12th, 2020—a date I’ll never forget. In the midst of a pandemic, Rafael and I went on our very first date, and despite all the restrictions, he managed to make it truly unforgettable. Rafael had planned a trip to New York City, and he went above and beyond. We spent the day in SoHo. I remember feeling a flutter of excitement mixed with a growing sense of admiration for this amazing guy. Our first stop was dinner at Cipriani, a beautiful restaurant with an air of elegance. I remember thinking how fancy it was, and I couldn’t believe Rafael had planned something so thoughtful and romantic for our very first date. Over delicious food and candlelight, we talked and laughed, the conversation flowing so naturally that I forgot we’d only just started dating. After dinner, Rafael took me out for drinks and dancing. In that moment, all the uncertainty of the world faded, and we got lost in the music and the joy of simply being together. Then, to top off the night, he surprised me by taking me to a music studio. There, I got to see him in his element, producing music—something he’s incredibly passionate about. Watching him work with such focus and joy was inspiring, and it gave me a glimpse into a whole other side of him. That night, I knew there was something truly special between us. Looking back, it feels like the perfect beginning to our story—filled with laughter, romance, and a connection that only grew deeper with time.

On December 24th, 2023, Rafael gave me the most beautiful Christmas Eve gift—a proposal that felt like something out of a dream. We were gathered with our families, celebrating the holiday, surrounded by warmth, laughter, and the glow of twinkling lights. Little did I know, Rafael had planned something truly special for this night. At one point in the evening, Rafael took my hand and guided me to the center of the room, where our families had subtly gathered around us. He began to speak, his voice filled with love and sincerity as he reflected on our journey together, from that first chance meeting in Atlantic City to all the memories and adventures we’d shared. His words were so heartfelt that I was already overwhelmed with emotion. Then, he got down on one knee, holding out a sparkling ring, and asked me to marry him. It felt like time stood still. Our families cheered, clapping and tearing up as they shared in our joy. This intimate, family-centered proposal was everything I could have wished for and more. That night, with our loved ones by our side, we celebrated not only Christmas but the beginning of our forever. It was a moment we’ll cherish forever, and we’re beyond thrilled to start this next chapter together.
