Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We are looking to have our finalized list of guests by August 4, 2024

Question

If I have concerns, how do I contact you guys?

Answer

Please feel free to utilize email or phone for any additional questions or concerns. Our emails will be listed below. Because our website is public, we will not be sharing our phone numbers publicly. Brittany: brittany.rudd5@gmail.com Peyton: peyton.notebaert@gmail.com

Question

If I am not at the wedding is there a way to stream it online?

Answer

We understand that not everyone will be able to make our special day. As we believe it should be fair to everyone, we are not live streaming our ceremony. If you wish to participate in our day, we ask that you join us in person!

Question

Can I take pictures/videos on my phone during the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony. This means that no phones/cameras will be allowed out during the ceremony itself. We ask that you please respect our wishes as we have hired some amazing photographers and videographers to capture every moment of our ceremony.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking will not be permitted as the venue is on top of a mountain! Instead, please use the shuttle service provided by the venue as they will arrive at the hotel and take you to and from the venue

Question

Can I stay in a different hotel/cabin other than the ones listed for the block?

Answer

We understand that families may want to stay in other locations/hotels. We have chosen the specific hotels to accommodate to everyone's needs and budgets. Due to our location requiring shuttle service to and from the venue, it is required that you book at the hotels listed. The shuttle will not go to other hotels/cabins. Should you and your family require other accommodations it must be communicated to Brittany or Peyton prior to the booking to ensure you and your family are at the wedding on time.

Question

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes, we will be having an open bar from after the ceremony ends until 9:30pm. No other alcohol will be permitted unless served by the bartender. Additionally, Tennessee state law restricts serving alcohol shots.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are not formally registered at this time as we both currently live together and have plenty of items in our current space together. Our home has a limited amount of space and we are not planning to expand any time soon. For those who choose to contribute a gift, we are asking to utilize the link provided in our website to contribute towards experiences for our honeymoon in Australia and New Zealand.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Ceremony start time is 4:00. We would suggest getting to the ceremony no later than 30 mins before the intended start time

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Business Casual is required. No jeans/shorts will be allowed

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Absolutely! Please specify on the invitation if you are bringing a date

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, we are so excited to invite all children to our wedding to enjoy our special day with us. All children must be accompanied by an adult at ALL times. Should a child not be accompanied by an adult, we will require you to leave the ceremony

Question

What kind of food will you be having?

Answer

Down in the south, BBQ is a speciality! We’ll be having appetizers including fruits, vegetables and sliders. For dinner, it will be buffet style with a choice of 3 meats: smoke sausage, quartered chicken and pulled pork and 3 sides: Mac and cheese, creamed corn and baked beans. We will have a variety of corn bread and rolls as well.

Question

What other drinks will be available?

Answer

Water, variety of pop, hot coffee and hot cider

Question

What is the welcome party the night before?

Answer

As our wedding venue is extremely popular, there will not be a rehearsal the night before. Instead of a rehearsal dinner, we will have an informal welcome party at the Marriott hotel. The gathering will be outside by the pool. If you are staying at a different hotel, please contact Peyton or Brittany when you arrive in order to let you in. The welcome party is an informal visit with the family, bride and groom. As this is an informal event, the hotel staff are not notified of guests. All are welcome, but not required to attend.

Question

I RSVP’D online, do I still need to mail in formal RSVP invite?

Answer

Yes please! We are asking that all guests utilize our online RSVP, if able, in order to making tracking more convenient for us. The formal RSVP should be mailed to the address given on the invitation in order to let Brittany and Peyton know how many guests will be staying at which hotel needing the shuttle.
