Why Key West?

Answer

Simple - it's our vibe! Key West is a very laid-back place, and state of mind. It's a vibrant, tropical island, known for its stunning sunsets on Mallory Square, turquoise waters, unique "Conch" style architecture with pastel colors, quirky charm, and diverse cultural mix. Key West is the southernmost city in the contiguous U.S., as seen by the many interpretations of the Mile 0 marker, and you will be closer to Havana (~90 miles) than you are to Miami (~130 miles). The bars stay open late (and open early), with acoustic yacht rock pouring out on the street from open ‘til close. It's a fun, tropical paradise where you will be able to leave your worries at home and go full vacay mode. This is going to be a blast and we can't wait to celebrate with you!

We kindly request for an RSVP as soon as you know if you are able to join us, and by August 1st at the latest.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

In early October, Key West's daytime temperatures are typically in the 80's with nighttime temps in the 70's.

Having you celebrate with us is the most wonderful gift we could receive!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking available near our ceremony location (Hemingway Home) but it is extremely limited, so we would recommend walking if you are close enough or taking an Uber. A trolley will transport guests from the ceremony to the reception (0.5 mile ride) and you can take an Uber home from there. Same for the sunset cruise and welcome dinner - the cruise will be on the north point of the island and a trolley will transport guests to the southern point for dinner, so we recommend taking an Uber to and from these locations.
