It all started with one fateful car ride to Vermont in January 2018. Nick was hitching a ride with Laura and Brittany, and you can confirm with Laura she did not get a word in edgewise on this first encounter. Though she thought these two would be a good match, she would like to make it very clear she did NOT set them up. After a few more weekends away snowboarding, Nick asked Brittany to go out in the city. Date one was on a Friday, followed by date two in Hoboken on Tuesday. It was clear these two balanced each other out when the waitress mixed up the "Bold & Spicy" wine flight for the "Fun & Fruity" selection (should we let you all guess who the spicy one is?). That week started years of meet ups at Grand Central for a quick catch up after work, long weekends away traveling all over the map and lots of time spent on each other's couches. Shout out Apt 3D as in dog and Apt 21 Stairmaster crews! It only made sense when it was time to propose that Nick thought of Mount Snow right away. After sharing the exciting plans with both families, the most special ring started to be made. With a gold band from Brittany's Grandma and the diamond from Nick's Mom&Dad, a beautiful family heirloom was ready for the big moment. Nick gathered the Boozehounds & Co. for the ultimate mountain top proposal. Brittany thought it was like any other Bluebird day, but soon came to realize the picture being taken at the cross-signs of "Plummet" and "Commitment" was so much more than that. Nick asked her to marry him, and Brittany "ugly cried" and said yes. They only did one run that day, but it is still their favorite one of all time. It was the most perfect day and so fitting to their story. ....Now that we are done speaking in the 3rd person, we can't wait to continue to bring our families and friends together for a lifetime of celebrations. We are so lucky for finding a best friend and true partner in each other. We can't wait to celebrate our big day with you all! xo Brittany & Nick
