We’re getting married!

It was a typical night out with the girls in Syracuse. We would always hang out outside for a short time after the club closed, as did everyone else pretty much, before we headed home. This was a normal night. Except this night, Quan had approached me after coming around the corner and seeing me being my bubbly self. He told his friends he needed to talk to me. He did just that. He came up to me and asked to take a picture with me incase he never seen me again🥹. I felt like a celebrity 😂 I told him I needed to send the pictures to him so we did that through Facebook messenger. After that, it was everyday messages exchanged back and forth. Mostly him because I sucked at looking at messages😂 After a month or so, I gave him my number and told him it was better than messenger and I would actually see his messages lol Fast forward to December 5th, the next time we were able to see each other again.. We haven’t left each other’s sides since then! I never believed in love at first sight until I met Marquane. He is truly my knight in shining armor! God knew what he was doing when he brought us together the night of September 18th ❤️

Our families, my best friend Taylor, and one of my closest friends, joined us this day, as it was the day of my pinning from nursing school. As if this day wasn’t already special, Quan sure made it even more special and it’s a day I will never forget. We walked what felt like miles to find “the perfect place to take pictures” as my sister said, after the pinning ceremony. My feet were killing me😂 Once we found this perfect spot, we took pictures with everyone. After a short time, my soon to be mother in law had handed me an envelope which was a card and money to pay for my boards. As she’s speaking to me and I’m already balling because this was such an amazing gift from her and family, she found a way to get me to turn around and there was Marquane, on one knee with the ring box in his hand, asking me to marry him 🥹 I felt like my knees were going to buckle. I was balling even more, as I was not expecting that at all! Everyone there knew that was going to happen (besides me obv) as it was planned for over a year. This man is truly special and I cannot wait to be his wife ❤️😍
