We're getting married!

Mark and Brittany met for the first time in December 2018. Brittanys sister, Brooke, was dating one of Mark's best friends, Xavier, at the time (they are now married) Mark and some other friends put together a surprise birthday party for Xavier and thats where we met for the first time. We were both pretty shy towards each other that day but after we met that day Mark told Xavier "I'm going to marry that girl someday". And now look at us!!! Getting married almost 7 years later(: Mark was working in California at the time so we didn't meet again until July 2019 when he was home visiting for his friend Blaise's birthday. A couple weeks later Brittany's family went out to California for their yearly family trip. Mark would come around to hangout with Xavier while they were in town but he really just couldn't stay away from Brittany(; even though she was stubborn! After spending some more time around each other on that trip, we finally got each others numbers and we started talking over the phone every day. Mark would come home to Colorado for a weekend every few weeks so we could see each other. Mark was home for Christmas break later that year and officially asked Brittany to be his girlfriend January 6, 2020 and the rest is history! The first three years of our relationship were long distance, the last two years we've only had to do long distance off and on. Over the years, we've enjoyed lots of hobbies together, we love cooking together, playing pickleball, going to church, flyfishing, going up to the mountains, golfing and camping. Mark proposed January 12, 2025 in Grand Lake, Colorado and it was so special and we are just so excited to start our lives together!
