There are shops open, places to dip your feet in the ocean, and many different wonderful restaurants!

Bar Harbor

Bangor, Maine is the home to the notorious author, Stephan King! His house is less than a few minutes away from our first apartment. Stop by anytime and get a picture taken in front of his house!

Located on the Bangor side of the waterfront is the Sea Dog, a great restaurant. There is a walking/running path right next to the river!

Acadia National Park is a huge travel spot! It’s located in Bar Harbor and has many sightseeing spots, picture spots, hiking trails, and gorgeous scenery

The Orono Boardwalk is located in Bangor, as well as Orono! There is one part of the walking path where you do cross the city line. The boardwalk is full of gorgeous scenery, and the walking path goes right through nature!

One of my personal favorite hiking trails is Chick Hill located in Clifton, Maine. This gives you a great opportunity to see some of Maine's beautiful forests and lakes. The hike is around 1.3 miles long.
