It was June of 2010, our summer going into our 11th grade year at American Senior high school. Brittany was a cheerleader & Larry was on the football team. During summer practice, the cheerleaders and football players had lunch break at the same time. They all went walking to get lunch. Larry wanted to see how could he get Brittany's attention. Larry threw rice at her. Brittany looked back & he immediately denied it "Guilty" is what he was. When they got back to the school he apologized and they sat & talked. That is when it all started.. Brittany & Larry started texting everyday and got to know each other. Larry would text Brittany "Good morning beautiful” every morning & til this day, he still does. Football season started & Brittany was repping the number 18 on her face every game. Her family started to pick up on it and wanted to know who this number 18 was. To fast forward to senior year, Brittany was getting ready for her debutant cotillion practice and needed a partner. Brittany was scared to tell her parents she had someone in mind. She went and told her mom about Larry and they agreed for him to participate. Larry met Brittany’s dad for the first time and surprisingly, it went better than expected. Brittany and Larry started spending so much time together that their bond grew stronger.

On Christmas of 2018, Larry got on one knee and presented Brittany with a Christmas gift she was not expecting. He said “You have the opportunity to change your last name to mine, Brittany will you marry me” and of course she said “YES!” We were able to share this moment with family and friends. Here we are..9 years later. We have shared so many memories, laughs, tears, prayers, but most importantly love. We became best friends, soul mates, and together in christ. We have been blessed to create an unbreakable bond. We can’t wait to share this amazing journey with all of you by our side for the day we say “I do".
