For those of you who have never been to our wonderful hometown--welcome! There are so many amazing things to get yourself into. We've created a whole list of favorite activities and places to go on the next page.
But first things first--transportation.
Chicago has really great public transportation options. You can get just about anywhere on the CTA buses or trains. Midway Airport best services the Southwest Side of Chicago. O'Hare is closest if staying in the Loop or North Side. Both are accessible via public transportation.
If you’re looking for more expedient methods of transportation, Uber, Lyft or Via will come in handy especially when getting to the wedding ceremony and reception.
Below are some hotel suggestions located on the South Side near Soldier Field/McCormick Place and Hyde Park. We also encourage using Airbnb to get a feel for the city.
