FAQs

Question

Where is the reception?

Answer

The reception is the same as the ceremony! So no need to worry!

Question

Is the ceremony inside or outside?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outside The Porcher House in the front lawn. The reception will be inside the house.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-casual to semi formal. We’re asking for no jeans or flip flops please. The dress code is more refined than everyday wear but avoid tuxedos or full formal gowns.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 2pm.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The ceremony is in a small downtown area with public parking throughout. There are several side streets with parking as well. We recommend showing up a little earlier to be able to drive through and find a spot. Update: Lee Wenner Park (it’s basically a giant parking lot/ boat ramp area) which is located in Cocoa village is now finished and open for parking.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than November 1st.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. The venue will only allow a certain amount of people so unfortunately we will only be able to accommodate those invited.

Question

Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

There will be an open bar (beer , seltzers and wine) as well as sodas, water and juice. We will be serving a buffet style dinner. Tacos for the win!

Question

Are there any post wedding activities planned?

Answer

Yes! After the reception we would love to celebrate with everyone after the wedding walking around downtown cocoa village! There are multiple bars/restaurants with live music! Cocoa Village is one of our favorite places on the water and we would love for you to get to experience it as well! Everything is in walking distance as well!
