An 11 mile, paved trail that goes from the Anchorage Airport to downtown Anchorage. Located right on the coast so offers beautiful views of the inlet and the surrounding nature. There is also a chance you can see wildlife from the trail such as moose!

If you want to see glaciers and some marine wildlife, a day cruise would be a great option! This day crusie operates out of Whittier. You can do a day trip from Anchorage and drive down to Whittier to take this cruise.
Another day cruise option if you want to see glaciers and marine wildlife. This day crusie company operates out of Seward so you would need drive down to Seward to catch the cruise.
If you want to see a glacier up close, Byron Glacier is a great option. Just a short drive south of Anchorage, you can access the trailhead to the glacier around Whittier. You turn left of Portage Glacier Road. The hike to the glacier is considered moderate.
Another land based glacier you can hike to the face of. There are a couple trails around Exit Glacier but there is an easy Lower Trail Head path that takes you to the face of the glacier.
If you want to do some fishing, Seward is a great location. There are tons of charter companies in Seward but this is a good one.

If you want to get a "one of kind" experience, taking a helicopter tour over Knik Glacier is a great option! Alaska Helicopter Tours takes off from the Alaska Glacier Lodge which is a one hour drive north of Anchorage.
By going to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, you are guaranteed to see wildlife such as bear, moose, caribou, and so much more!
