Sarah Prudhomme
Maid of Honor
From high school, Sarah has been by Brittany's side through all lifes events. Sarah has been Brittany's rock, biggest supporter, through good times and bad. When Brittany introduced Sarah to Jory she knew instantly this was the perfect match. Coincidentally, Sarah ran in to Jory at Starbuck's the day he was proposing to Brittany and he showed her the ring. Sarah had to resist texting Brittany that day because she wouldn't be able to hold back her excitement, and accidentally slip and spoil the surprise. Sarah obviously had to tell Taylor the exciting news and the two patiently waiting for Brittany to FaceTime them a picture of her manicured hands and a ring. Sarah is the person who will give the shirt off her back and this was so easily demonstrated when Jory broke his legs. Sarah was there to make sure our home was wheelchair accessible, and Christmas decoration were put away. Not to mention finding us the dreaded bedside commode and urinals that were used for far too long. Through thick and thin Sarah has showed her devotion to Jory too. Sarah knows that if she's coming over with Starbucks that she needs to get Jory a "Pink Drink" too.
Shawn Fillion
Best Man
The two met while working at a small gas station, where bad habits and poor decisions came to be. Shawn and Jory are inseparable to the point where Shawn moved into a house within within walking distance from Jory. From trips to the Caribbean to Morgan Wallen concerts, Shawn has been by Jory's side, leaving Brittany to be the most patient third wheel in the world. Shawn would stay over with Britt and Jory so often that Britt would refer to the spare room as "Shawn's Room." That room has been vacant for some time, but it will never be replaced. Brittany will always ensure that the fridge is filled with Twisted Teas and that their home will always be a depot for all of Shawn's Amazon packages. Jory didn't even have to ask Shawn to be his best man - it was simply assumed he would say yes. To be formal, Jory did ask Shawn, and this turned out to be the easiest question Jory ever needed to ask anyone (besides when asked Britt to marry him, of course). Asking Shawn to be the best man was actually less expensive too.
Taylor Parisi
Maid of Honor
Taylor is everyone's favourite passenger seat princess, DJ, and Pizza Queen. Taylor and Brittany went through way too many long years of nursing school together. They also bonded over a strong and lasting friendship from karaoke-like singing to "Man! I Feel Like a Woman!" by Shania Twain or "Love Story" by Taylor Swift." Taylor has been one of Brittany's biggest supporters and cheerleaders through all of life events. Brittany and Taylor have taken many trips together. Taylor never fails to bring the best playlist while Brittany drives to group to the best pizza restaurants on these adventures. Taylor is a true pizza connoisseur and has never failed Britt when she needs to find a good pizza dinner. In true Taylor fashion, her the picture she chose for this intro is her holding a good old slice of 'za.
Devin Rousseau
Groomsman
Their friendship came to be from a weekend of fun at the Boots & Hearts Music Festival, and you guessed it, the rest was history. It was very well known that Devin obviously missed Jory more than Britt when he was working away at Detour for a couple of years - so much so that Devin got Jory a job in Timmins so they could be each other's work partners and they wouldn't more than a few days without being together. Both Jory and Devin, along with Brittany and Karly have many memories of playing golf or mini putt together. However, due to the boys' competitive nature, we don't play mini putt together anymore. Devin is also the couple's funniest and most well-spoken friend. Devin and Jory have only gone to the camp a few times because of the trauma Jory put him through every time they did go. The quote "walked uphill both ways" was very true for Rousseau as he has yet to return to the camp. Not only was Devin asked to be a groomsman, but also a Master of Ceremony for the reception. Britt and Jory can't wait to see what kind of speech he will draft up!
Madison Sutterlin

Every single time Brittany and Madison have 12-hour shifts together, they never fail to leave the parking lot without a phone call that lasts 2+ hours. These two, surprisingly, never run out of things to talk about. It is safe to say that Madison knows everything about Brittany. Jory doesn't even question who Britt is talking to when the phone is on speaking while she is doing the dishes or sitting in a bath. Shea, Britt's niece, also enjoys a good play date with Sawyer, Madison's son. Coincidentally, Brittany took care of baby Sawyer before she even officially met his mom! Brittany and Madison's love for dogs and Starbucks has brewed a strong friendship that will forever be flavourful. Brittany was honoured to be the secret keeper for Madison's gender reveal. Brittany has since had an early start shopping for baby clothes. Madison is also one of Britt's most honest friends - she never fails to give her opinion when Britt brings up a bad idea, especially during wedding planning. Jory enjoys this honesty since Madison sadly agrees with Jory, only sometimes, though.
Brandon Irvin
Groomsman
Brandon was Jory's first friend growing up in their hometown of Iroquois Falls, ON. Since those early days, Jory has always been jealous of Brandon's height (even though he will never say it out loud). Britt met Brandon when Jory brought her along to Brandon's grandparentss' farm, and it was a real test for her. Picture this: Britt walked through a garden of every known fruit and vegetable and then saw chickens in a coop next to the house. Little did Jory know that this visit would inspire Britt to plant her own extravagant garden, and then proceed to tell Jory she wanted him to build her a coop, just like Brandon's grandparents. Brittany and Jory are in awe watching Brandon's son grow up. Brittany was lucky enough to be working the day Brandon and his spouse welcomed their son, Banjo. Brittany can never seem to understand how two men with uncontrolled ADHD can keep an ever-changing conversation going. Brandon will often pop in for a beer to find Jory working. Britt still laughs at and appreciates these visits, as those two will often update Britt on everything life has to hold. It's also safe to say that Brandon was Jory's #1 fan when Jory learned to play the harmonica.
Sienna Collins

It is hard to explain to others the friendship that can evolve from working so closely together, such as the one that came to fruition between Britt and Sienna. This friendship was like none other. This supportive friendship started with uncontrollable laughter and humour at 4 am during the night shift and then transformed into a weekly trip to Winners. Brittany was honoured when Sienna shared with her the news of her pregnancy, which was still a secret. Brittany had to contain all the excitement. Brittany was by Sienna's side for the first ultrasounds, leaving Brittany feeling privileged and teary-eyed when the time finally came to meet her beautiful little girl. It is hard to forget that Jory enjoyed feeling a little kick or bringing his ear a little too close to Sienna's pregnancy belly, thinking he was going to hear the baby. FYI, Sienna was warned that Jory could be a little "handsy" when it comes to pregnant bellies and looking to feel baby kicks. She didn't mind because who wouldn't expect any less from Jory?
Aaron Lachance

Born as cousins and turned into best friends, Jory and Aaron will share the same 2 hour daily conversations, just like Brittany and Madison. Aaron and Jory's friendship grew stronger the older the two got. They were known as Little and Big Lachance for far too many years. Aaron, your classic girl dad, had been telling Jory to settle down for years. Jory jokes that he will never have two girls like Aaron and Michelle, but we all know he's completely jinxing himself. The two have more stories than can be typed out in this description.
Baillee Cummings
Bridesmaid
From sister-in-laws to personal photography, Baillee has been a part of obviously Jory's, but many of Britt's life moments. Baillee has shot many of Brittany's family and friends' pictures, which enclose a large circle of love. Baillee and Jory never fail to be the worst partners at any game, competitive or not. But she shows her love with almost weekly food deliveries right in the fridge whenever she tries out a new soup or cookie recipe. Baillee, the big sister, still loves and trusts Jory to watch her dogs even though Jory has almost killed the dogs on more than one occasion. She is just a little more trusting now that Britt is also around. Baillee also holds the title of the Type A bridesmaid who ordered her dress with more than a year's notice. Britt has been more than honoured to have Baillee text when an expert opinion is needed or when she needs Jory to get out of her hair.
Justin Boucher
Groomsman
A childhood friend of Jory's now promoted to travel buddies. Brittany, Jory, Justin and Caitlin have ventured in Las Vegas together and have a working list of many more future destinations in the works. The four have been skydiving together on the border of Nevada and Arizona. Please note that Jory and Justin were almost in tears and green from the nausea of the small plane before jumping while the ladies were conversing and laughing on the flight at 15,000 feet. Nonetheless, everyone had the biggest adrenaline rush. The group completed the vacation with Brittany skipping down Freemont Street while holding Jory and Justin's hands on her way back to bed after one too many beverages. It still surprises me that we let Jory plan every outing, and yes, I will admit, he did kill it. Justin and Jory's friendship started by building cabins out in the bush that surprisingly still stand to this day. Jory is so proud of these cabins that he has to take Britt on the four-wheeler to show her himself.
Kathleen Bellavance

Kathleen is the big sister Brittany always wanted. Brittany looks up to Kathleen for guidance, and direction in all life events. Brittany was over the moon to be part of Kathleen's delivery for Shea and saw their faces when they found out the baby's sex at the delivery. Britt was the proud little sister seeing Kathleen jam out at her show last year. Britt still has videos just in case a music producer needs anything for her music video in the next couple of years. Britt and Jory appreciate every night spent at Brandon and Kathleen's cottage. Every pontoon boat ride, jumping into a cold lake or ice fishing has been made into many valuable memories that the couple will always cherish
Brandon Bellavance

Although everyone knew Britt as "Brandon's little sister," she would still hold that name proudly. Britt and Brandon have a brother-and-sister bond like none other. With a 3-year age gap, the two have always been close. From Brandon taking Brittany out of a high chair as a baby to teaching her the ins and outs of home renovations, the two have grown closer than ever. So much so that Brittany was Brandon's Best Woman at their wedding a few years ago. Brittany has always sought guidance from her older brother and always needed his approval for any guy she had in her life. In other words, Jory and Brandon hit it off instantly with Jory's witty sense of humour. Jory will never understand the bond that both Brittany and Brandon have towards Brandon's million-dollar dog, Piper. Britt has said proudly on more than one occasion that she's known Piper longer than she's known Jory, and the dog may or may not be more important than he is.
Britney Martin

Britney and Jory were the first to become friends in the small town of Iroquois Falls. Then, many years later, the two ladies met each other. From ice fishing on the big lake to fireworks on New Year's Eve, Brit is always up for an adventure with Britt, Jory, and her husband, Tate. Brit never fails to laugh louder than anyone and has the biggest heart. At 37 weeks pregnant, Brit was a trooper when she came to spend New Year's Eve on the lake in the ice huts with Jory and Britt. When the night took a turn, she was there to lend a helping hand by being at Britt and Jory's beck and call (even if it almost threw her into labour). Britney also helped plant 20+ cedar trees in her garden on the hottest day of summer 2022 when she was in the earlier part of her pregnancy, and she didn't complain once. The two also have the privilege of working together. Of course, the best friendships are made after spending 12-hour shifts by each other's side. And yes, they will both turn to answer whoever calls out their name because no one ever knows which "Brit/Britney/Brittany" someone may be talking to when they are together in the same room.
Tate Martin

From being best known for buying far too many goose decoys one could store to building an overly large ice hut, Tate never fails to bring life and humour to any event. Tate also has been to the rescue on one too many "Jory accidents", which is why he will probably always keep a cheap hockey stick in his truck to use as a stabilizer to be prepared. Tate also enjoys any and all of Britt's cooking, with his favourites being a bowl of soup, barbecue nachos, or homemade pizzas. Britt makes it a point to pack him a container to bring home for a late-night snack, even when his Brit is over for girls' nights. Tate and Jory have been friends and have more than one too many hunting or fishing stories that cannot be shared openly. Jory was honoured and excited to stand by Tate's side on his wedding day - and that is all that will be said about that.
Shea Bellavance
Flower Girl
Shea is the youngest of Brittany and Jory's nieces. This spunky ball of energy has brought so much joy to their lives. Shea loves it when Uncle Jory plays in the sprinkler but hates it when he squeezes her cheeks. She also wasn't very happy when he popped her favourite Paw Patrol balloon on her birthday. Shea never mentions how she wants to come to her Auntie Bitsey's house and play outside with Goose. Shea loves a good adventure at the cottage or going to Tracy and Roger's, where she loves to play on every single pool floaty. Shea also gives hugs and kisses sparingly but only on her own terms - it's the independent woman in her. We will all have to see who she runs to on the Wedding day— Britt's bet: not Uncle Jory.
Kyle Turcotte
Groomsman
Kyle will be honourably mentioned as the one who witnessed Jory and Brittany's memorable first date. Kyle sat quietly in the back seat and listened to Jory and Britt harmonize to every Shania Twain song for 3+ hours without complaining, not even once. Kyle saw Brittany often as he and Jory were roomates before Jory moved in with Brittany. Britt had to endure many nights of the guys singing "Whiskey Lullaby" on Jory's karaoke machine on random Tuesday nights. Although they don't sing as well as Britt, the couple will repeatedly cherish these memories and laugh when thinking of them. Kyle has also helped the couple with many of their house renovations. Britt will admit that Kyle wears the white hat when he runs any operation. Kyle and Jory also shared joint custody of Wiser, now Kyle's dog. He still visits often and is one of Goose's best friends.
Charlotte Baker
Flower Girl
Charlotte and Jory are a perfect match. Charlotte will give the biggest hugs to Uncle Jory before going to see anyone else at the weekly family dinners. Charlotte nicknamed Brittany "Aunty Piggy" in a role call, and that name stuck to this day. Charlotte will never fail to ask either Uncle Jory or Auntie Piggy to sit at the kid's table to eat dinner, even if that means the two have to sit on a child's chair with their knees touching their ears. Despite being uncomfortable at the table, they do it every time she asks. You might very well witness Charlotte running up to Uncle Jory on the wedding day for the biggest hug in the world.
Rhett Cummings
Ring Bearer
The oldest of the children is Mr. Rhett Rhett. Jory and Brittany are honoured to be Rhett's godparents, and they hold that title very proudly. Jory still, to this day, cannot for the life of him change Rhett's diaper without running out of the room and throwing up. Rhett has a light in his eyes that can make anyone smile. Rhett also brought positive moments to everyone when Jory had his accident. For example, he would often want to sit on Uncle Jory's lap to go for wheelchair rides which resulted in endless belly giggles. He brought so much cheerfulness during a very stressful 6 months.
Goose
Dog of Honour
The dog that holds more importance to Britt than Jory on any given day. Jory and Britt got Goose, and the rest was history. Goose will never miss out on an opportunity to cuddle with Mom, or better yet, lay on her laptop while she was planning this wedding. He is a true "Mama's Boy," and his love language is undoubtedly physical touch. Goose will cry joyously whenever Britt or Jory come home, even if they were gone for 5 minutes. When Goose goes to stay at the Lachance Lakeside Retreat, he will even howl out "Mama" for the first few nights. Nonetheless, he is still somehow Mimi and Pepe's favourite fur child.
Emmett Delaurier
Honourable Person of Wisdom
Better known as "Papa", Emmett is the oldest person in Jory and Brittany's lives. Emmett will be 94 years young. He is Jory's maternal grandfather. Emmett is promoted to our Honourable Person of Wisdom for our ceremony as we look up to him for guidance for love and life. Papa has always supported both Brittany and Jory throughout the years. Papa has never skipped a beat when it comes to fashion and style, wearing his Nike shoes or his Ray-band sunglasses. Also, who can say no when Papa asks to share the occasional cigar to celebrate another year around the sun?
