Our first day was to go to the Great Lakes Science Center, but since we have only talked through messages we decided to meet up somewhere. I wanted to do this so I could still pick her up without asking for her home address. And I, Brittany, normally wouldn’t agree to let a guy drive me on a first date, but knowing a little about his faith and background I thought it might be okay. So that is why I, Jordan, suggested to her to park in my home church's parking lot, Hope Christian Church, where we first met.

A week prior my college friend Matt invited me to go to the Science Center, which is something we've done together before along with our other science teacher friend Amber. I also had a concert planned that day in the evening with Jordan, and so I said we'd have to go before that. At some point during the week prior Jordan convinced me to have Matt pick me up so he could meet us downtown later for the concert. That morning Matt arrived early to pick me up as i was finishing my nails to match my concert dress for later. Matt drove to Malleys chocolates to "get something for his sister" but they were closed. This was a flag for me because I went to Malley's as part of a scavenger hunt when Jordan asked me to be his girlfriend, but since they were closed I doubted it. So we went on to Starbucks for a coffee. Driving on Matt told me to get the extra phone at the bottom of my purse. As I'm looking for it, Amber calls me and tells me to give Matt some directions. She then goes on to say she wishes she could join us (she lives in Arizona) and how excited and happy she is for me and my future. Then I watched the video on the mysterious phone in my purse, which is Jordan asking my parents permission to marry me back in June. Then I believe Michael Saltis called me, or I called him, I cant remember. Michael sent his blessings along with several meaningful pope quotes. Michael also spoke kindly of our relationship in how we challenge each other to be a better version of ourselves in a positive loving way. At this point I'm quite emotional when we pull up to Great Northern mall and I see Christina standing there with my clothes bag and I become more emotional. While in the mall to change, Aaron calls me from Germany to send his well wishes along with message about how Jordan's love is deeper than the ocean. After I have changed into my dress, Christina drove me to the church were me and Jordan first met. He proposed in the presence of friends and family.
