Question

What are the venue's COVID precautions?

Answer

Willow Creek Winery is one of the few venues in NJ that has been able to host large indoor weddings during the pandemic due to its large size, window-to-wall ratio, and state-of-the-art HVAC system. Willow Creek was actually hosting weddings 4-5 nights a week in 2020, since many couples had moved their weddings to this venue! Windows will be open to allow airflow, staff will be required to wear masks, and we will offer hand sanitation products. It is our hope that vaccinations will be widely available by the time of our wedding. We encourage guests to follow CDC guidelines, and avoid travel and large crowds for the 14 days leading up to the wedding. Consider getting tested a few days before to ensure a negative result.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive for the ceremony at 5pm. Visit the Itinerary page on this website for schedule details. Visit the Travel page on this website for shuttle details.

Question

Do I have to mail my RSVP or can I RSVP online?

Answer

Please mail the RSVP for ceremony/reception.

Question

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Semi-formal. The ceremony is outdoors on a lawn; block heels or wedges are recommended. The cocktail hour is on a paved patio. The reception is indoors.

Question

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel?

Answer

Yes, information pending.

Question

Are there any local places you’d recommend I visit while I’m in town?

Answer

The beach, of course! South Cape May Meadows for nature walking. The Chalfonte Hotel has live music day and night. We love Elaine's for music, drinks, and it's late hours. Washington Street (and all its nooks and crannies) have restaurants, boutiques, and treats. Congress Hall is a fabulous historical icon, perfect for grabbing drinks on the veranda. The Beach Shack is great for low-key beach vibes.

Question

Is there parking available near the ceremony and reception venues?

Answer

Limited parking onsite. Handicap spaces available. It is preferred that guests use the shuttle provided or Uber/Lyft to ensure everyone's safety.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Invitations are addressed to indicate the individuals invited.

Question

Will there be vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free food options?

Answer

Yes, information pending.

Question

Can I take pictures and/or post photos of your wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, please! Remember to tag #PiggyAndTheRat so we can keep a collection.
