The Cabin Bar & Grill
This was one of my favorite restaurants growing up! I would call for reservations, as he is very close to the Summit Hotel and conventions eat there a lot. This is in Big Sky Village – about halfway up the mountain – there is a pretty ‘lake’ (we Texans would call it a nice tank) at the turn to go to Big Sky. Curly Shea owns this restaurant. He and his family are very good friends of ours. If you go, please hug him for us. He will take very good care of you. The food is VERY GOOD. My favorite is his Twin Filets… The wine list is also a great one!
Buck's T-4 Lodge
This restaurant is part of a motel on the same road that you drive on into Big Sky from Bozeman, but it is past the turnoff to Big Sky by about a couple of miles on the right. The food is YUMMY, and they have a GREAT wine list and cocktails too. My absolute favorite is their Red Deer and their Strawberries Romanoff for dessert.
Rainbow Ranch Lodge
Delicious and fresh cocktails! This is on the same road driving from Bozeman and is past the entrance to Big Sky, approximately three miles on the left. It is on the Gallatin River and has cabins for lease. The food is VERY GOOD, and they also have a GREAT wine list. I eat something different every time. We usually get a reservation, as they have a lot of weddings, rehearsal dinners….love tables by the windows or sometimes outside.
Olive B's Big Sky Bistro
This restaurant is located in the Village, Town Center or Meadow area of Big Sky. (All three terms are used by the locals) This is in the restaurant/shopping/grocery area. The food has always been delicious, and their wine list is not huge; but thoughtful. Great, fresh cocktails. I get reservations as it is small.
Ousel & Spur Pizza Co.
So much more than just great pizza! Ousel & Spur serves a wide selection of authentic Italian pasta dishes, creative appetizers, and delectable desserts.
Lone Peak Brewery & Taphouse
They have 13 beers on tap and serve everything from burgers and wings to rice bowls and salads. They also have wines and a fully stocked bar if you crave something other than beer.
By Word of Mouth
It is located in the Meadow, Town Center. The food is always delicious and has a creative wine list as well. They are very well- known caterers and are always changing the menu.
Blue Moon Bakery
In the Meadow area. Their baked goods are very good, as are the breakfast sandwiches, etc. We have been told their pizzas, etc.…are very good, but have not sampled.
Milkies Pizza & Pub
This is a hole in the wall located in the Meadow. We have only had them deliver to us…very good pizza and subs.
The Wrap Shack
Located in the Meadow in the same parking lot as Blue Moon Bakery. This is a hole in the wall, but the wraps are HUGE and GREAT! There are only a couple of seats to eat so we have gotten wraps to go.
