Is there a dress code for the reception?

Answer

Yes! Please dress in traditional formal or “creative formal” attire, which includes floor-length dresses, pant suits, and tuxedos. This is your chance to wear the fancy outfit that has been collecting dust in the back of your closet or to try out a new look that is outside your comfort zone. Although formal dress code is typically more traditional, feel free to take it up a notch and get creative! Want to fit the theme (optional)? Are kids welcome?

This event is reserved for guests who are over the age of 16. This provides parents with an opportunity to have a night out to enjoy themselves. Additionally, this event will not be child-friendly. Please secure child care prior to the event.

Why is the event on a Monday?

Answer

We saved $6,000 by having it on a Monday. That’s it. That’s the whole reason.

What will we be doing?

Answer

We will be having the typical food, drinks, dancing, and conversation. However, we will also have a collaborative painting as our guest book, and video speeches can be given in our “confession booth” throughout the night!

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Guests will be provided with a glass of champagne for cocktail hour. For dinner and beyond, the bar will be open until our tab limit is reached. If the tab limit is reached, guests will be asked to purchase their own alcohol for the remainder of the night.

Is there parking for the reception?

Answer

Yes, there is parking on site. You may cross the train tracks on foot to enter through the main door of the venue.

Can I bring a date?

Let us know ahead of time and we can add a "plus one" to your RSVP.

What if I forget to RSVP?

Answer

Our final headcount is important to us, as well as our vendors. If we do not receive an RSVP by the deadline, you will not be included in our final count and will not be able to attend.
