"I met Jake at a going away dinner for a mutual friend. My friend, Colleen, knew I was having a hard day, so she knew we needed to get out of the apartment. When Jake walked up and started talking to us, I automatically knew he was a good person with a kind heart. We kept in touch for the next year or so, always congratulating each other on our accomplishments and just casual talk. One day I was working a flight to Nashville from Charlotte and saw Jake's name on the standby list. I was so excited to see him, but I couldn't really place why.
