Palo Duro Canyon is the third largest canyon in the U.S. and is absolutely breathtaking. If you have time, we recommend driving through or taking one of the canyons many beautiful trails. If hiking, be sure to go early in the day, bring lots of water, and read through the park rules.

The Big Texan Steak Ranch is an iconic restaurant and roadside attraction in Amarillo, Texas, along Interstate 40 and historic Route 66. Famous for its 72-ounce steak challenge—free if eaten in one hour with sides—it opened in 1960 and moved to its current location in 1970.
