How Did You Meet? Brittany was getting frustrated with the online dating scene and was about to take a break from it. She decided to do one last half-hearted scroll on the dating app Bumble. The profile that came up was Homer’s, and after glancing over the profile, Brittany was quickly intrigued. After talking for a few days, Homer and Brittany had their first date at Curras, Brittany’s favorite Mexican restaurant. As dinner came to an end, Brittany and Homer decided to continue their conversation at Cosmic Coffee, and the rest is history! What’s your favorite activity to do together? We enjoy doing mundane things together like running errands or relaxing at home and watching an episode of Cutthroat Kitchen. As a family, we love taking Michael to the park and enjoying new experiences with him. Our favorite activities also include nature activities, going out to eat, or taking mini vacations. What do you appreciate about each other? Brittany appreciates Homero's constant positivity and his laid-back perspective on things. She values his reliability and considers him her rock. She loves his affectionate nature and adores watching him and Michael together. Homer loves that Brittany is detail oriented, a planner, and a go-getter. He admittedly is not. Homer loves that Brittany is such a loving person and values her family above all else. Describe your engagement story. As Homer was brainstorming ideas on how to surprise Brittany with a proposal, Brittany’s sister Cortney reminded him about the family photo session Brittany had recently booked. Homer realized the great opportunity this presented and quickly reached out to the photographer. Meanwhile, Brittany figured their busy work schedules and caring for an infant would prevent Homer from being able to surprise her with a proposal. She was definitely surprised! What are some of your differences? Homer loves comedy shows and Brittany likes to binge on suspense and murder mysteries. Brittany enjoys tart and bitter flavors, while Homer has a major sweet tooth. Brittany is a spender and Homer is a saver. Where do you plan on going for the Honeymoon? We are planning on staying in a cozy log cabin in the mountains! We are still narrowing down the destination.
