When and where is the wedding?

Our ceremony will take place at Saint Mary's Catholic church in Longview Texas followed by reception at Sweet Hills Wedding and Event Center. You can find all the details (addresses, times and directions under the Scheule tab).

What should I wear?
Answer
Our wedding ceremony will be held in a Catholic church, so recommend semi-formal attire that is respectable for a place of worship (think dresses, skirts, dress pants and collared shirts). The reception will be more relaxed–will have a taco truck, cocktails and plenty of dancing so feel free to dress for comfort and fun after the ceremony!

What should I expect at a Catholic wedding ceremony?

If you have never been to a Catholic wedding before, don't worry! It is a beautiful, reverent ceremony that will include readings, music and prayers. Our ceremony will include a full Mass. You don't have to be catholic to attend - simply sit, stand or kneel along with everyone else as you feel comfortable. The main thing is just to be present and enjoy the moment with us.

Is the reception at the same location?

No, the reception will be at a separate venue after the ceremony. There will be a short gap between the two to allow for travel and photos - we'll provide directions and parking info to make it easy.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Yes! We love your little ones and can't wait to celebrate with the whole family. Just keep in mind that there will be music, dancing and an open bar later in the evening.

We're keeping things delicious and laid-back with a local taco truck serving up your favorites. There will be options for different dietary needs - just let us know when you RSVP if you have any dietary restrictions.

If your invitation was addressed to you and a guest, then yes! Otherwise, we're keeping the guest list limited to those named on the invitation due to space.
