The bride and groom are looking to do a BLACK out wedding! We request all guests wear SOLID black attire. If you choose to wear a tux/suit, we even request a black shirt. The blacker the better. No jeans or khakis please, formal attire only.
Although we love the kiddos, please note this is an adult only event. Unless noted, only a select few family children will be invited. Get a babysitter and enjoy yourselves! If you cannot come because of this, we understand!
Yes! Wedding blocks will be held at two locations. At the Barn at Frosty Valley, they have cottages to book right on site. If you prefer, we will also have hotel rooms available down the road at the Pine Barn Inn. Transportation will be offered for those staying there on the night of the wedding. Although all gifts are generous and accepted, the bride and groom already have built a home together and a monetary donation would be a wonderful addition to building a bigger future.
Although we wish we could invite everyone, only those listed on the invitation are invited to the wedding.
All events will take place at the Barn at Frosty Valley Country Club. The ceremony will be located outside on the golf course by the pond (golf carts will be available for those needing ADA accommodations), the cocktail hour will be on the lower patio at the barn and the reception will be located inside the barn with access to the outdoor upper patio. In lieu of bad weather, the ceremony will be moved to the large tent outside the barn.
Please arrive to the venue between 2:30-2:45pm as the ceremony will start promptly at 3:00 pm.
There is no smoking allowed on the patio or in the reception area. There will be a designated smoking area at the front of the venue for guests to use throughout the night.
Yes there is a large parking lot right across from the venue.
Given the lack of options and to limit excessive driving after a night of fun, the bride and groom have chosen to extend their reception ONE extra hour to enjoy extra time with their guests!
Although we are going for a BLACKED OUT wedding look, we will never discourage leopard accessories. GET WILD with us!
Yes! Starting at 2:15 (check in is at 3p but they assured me you could ask about early check in as ceremony starts at 3). They will run the shuttle between 2:15 and 2:30 to Frosty and then pickup at Frosty will run 10:15-10:30 until everyone is back at the Pine Barn. Susquehanna Valley Limousine Bus
