FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

RSVP deadline is September 15. The sooner, the better!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

semi-formal or dressy casual

Question

I have a food allergy. What do I do?

Answer

We're having breakfast for dinner: biscuits & gravy, eggs, hashbrowns, etc. If you have any allergies or sensitivities, just get in touch with one of us!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Absolutely! If you think yours will be wiggly, there are activities available to keep little hands and minds busy. Not a fan of kids? Just find another seat!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We have more than enough for our home, but do have a registry at Target for things we are looking to replace. Shortly after the wedding, we're moving into our new house. If you'd like to support our home fund, we'd really appreciate it! Those funds are on the registry page on this site. We also just really love thoughtful notes. Bonus points if you can make us cry happy tears!

Question

What is the parking situation?

Answer

The church has a dedicated parking lot on Bardstown Road. If the lot is full, there are spots available on the side streets surrounding the church. For accessible entrance, park on Deerwood Ave and follow the signs to the side door to enter.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Ceremony will start at 3 p.m. Unless you usually run late... For you, it starts at 2:30. Pre-ceremony music begins at 2:45 in case you're afraid of being bored.

Question

Where is the reception?

Answer

Ceremony, coffee hour, and dinner reception are all at Bardstown Road Presbyterian Church.

Question

What's the vibe for the reception?

Answer

We're not really loud music and dancing people so we'll have tons of food and games and light music during the reception. We have door prizes, too! There's also no alcohol, so if you want some big kid beverages, check out the list of local bars in the area for your own after-party.

Question

I'm coming from out-of-town/state. What's the weather like?

Answer

Your guess is as good as ours. Kentucky October could be warm and sunny or chilly and overcast. Pack layers and an umbrella, just to be safe. (The church does have heating and air conditioning though).
