Evan and Brittany's love story started the way all great loves start... online. When Brittany downloaded Hinge, she said "there is no way I'll meet the love of my life here." And for the first time ever, she was happy to be wrong. After a few days of exchanging messages back and forth, Evan and Brittany had their first date on March 25th 2023 at Ginza Sushi. They immediately hit it off with their mutual love of football & Taylor Swift. Eventually on May 1st 2023 Evan called himself Brittany's boyfriend (forgetting he was suppose to ask). In August 2024, Brittany and Evan planned a trip to Scotland and England. Evan had gotten Brittany tickets to see Taylor Swift in London. Unknown to her, Evan was planning something even more special for the trip. On their second full day in Edinburgh, they woke up to a thunderstorm, but Evan being the dedicated runner he is decided he was going to go for a morning run in the storm. Brittany thought nothing of it as he was always running in questionable weather. However, Evan was actually figuring out the perfect spot to propose. The weather cleared up and most of the day was beautiful and sunny. They spent the day exploring all around Edinburgh and did a tour of the Edinburgh Castle for a few hours. After the castle, Evan mentioned a beautiful park he ran through that morning with a view of castle that they should go check out. So, they started their walk to the park and at this point Brittany was getting very suspicious that something may be happening. Then Evan took a wrong turn and they ended up in a cemetery... Eventually, they found the right spot and in front of a beautiful fountain with the Edinburgh Castle in the background, Evan asked Brittany to marry him and she of course said yes.
