Our story began in November 2019 at Penn State. At the time, Ethan was a senior, and Brittany was a junior. After meeting, we spent a few weeks texting before Thanksgiving break rolled around. Once they were back on campus, Ethan asked Brittany to grab dinner at Roots (an amazing choice). Brittany, not wanting to jinx anything, didn’t tell a single person about the date - until fate intervened. We ran into one of Brittany’s friends (shoutout Nicole Kilrea!), who casually mentioned it the next day in Marketing class. Luckily, the date went great, and we instantly hit it off. After a few weeks of talking and hanging out, Ethan officially asked Brittany to be his girlfriend. Shortly after, Ethan graduated in December, and we took on long distance - made even more interesting when COVID hit in 2020. Despite everything, we found ways to spend time together through socially distanced activities while Brittany was home from college, and Ethan made frequent trips back to visit her at Penn State once classes resumed. When Brittany graduated, she moved to Delaware, putting us just a short drive apart. Weekends were spent making memories - visiting Amish markets, enjoying beer gardens, traveling to places like Nashville, Austin, New Orleans, Portugal, Puerto Rico, and Aruba, and discovering a shared love for all-you-can-eat sushi. In July 2024, we finally moved in together and now call Exton, PA home. Over the past year and a half, we’ve loved decorating our space, learning to cook together, and hosting family and friends. Fast forward to November 30, 2025, when Ethan took Brittany to Grace Winery in Glen Mills, PA under the guise of a “winery tour.” There, he popped the question! The day ended with celebrations alongside both of our families and a wonderful dinner - marking the beginning of our next chapter together.
