We’re Getting Married!!!

For the 4th of July,we decided to rent a condo a few steps from the beach on the Oregon coast!The first night we sat on the beach,built a fire and listened to one of our favorite podcasts after watching a beautiful golden sunset.The next morning we headed to an attraction you can only go to during low tide.Driving there Eric put on one of our favorite songs on a CD we listened to everyday the summer we met.When we got to Punch Bowl Park,parking seemed impossible.I told Eric we may have to come back tomorrow or just count this as a loss.Then we found the perfect spot.We began to wander a park that hours before was flooded with sea life.We admired the sights looking in the tide pools for starfish, sea cucumbers,and fish.We finally arrived at the main area, the “punch bowl”.A beautiful enclosed area with a picturesque peek hole to the ocean.When it was our turn for a photo,I set down my sweater and phone.Eric handed his phone to a kind stranger nearby.When it was time to say cheese,he got down on one knee and asked me the easiest question in the world,for me to be his wife!Shaking,smiling and nodding of course I said yes to forever with my best friend.It still feels like a dream!We looked up and people were cheering from above and all around,you can view from both above and below.Little did I know,he’d asked them to take a video instead of a picture.We took a few photos after and we went on our way to wander the area some more admiring the scenery and each other!We looked around more tidal pools when a couple found us saying they watched the proposal from above and were the ones cheering!They asked for our number to send us photos they had also taken.They also told us that right after we moved a big wave came in!We called our families and friends to share the news.Then we put our phones aside and enjoyed the rest of the 4th exploring the beautiful beach town.That night my fiancé and I made another fire on the beach,watched the fireworks and began planning forever!
