FAQs

Question

What time will the ceremony and reception begin?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will begin at 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time, with the reception beginning at 5 p.m. and the wedding party arriving at 5:30 p.m.

Question

Can I take pictures at the ceremony?

Answer

We will be hosting an "unplugged" ceremony. Therefore, we ask that phones be kept on silent and remain out of your hands. We will have a professional photographer and videographer recording the ceremony and we'd like for those who are with us on our special day to be able to experience it through their eyes and not their phones.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We're trying to keep this wedding as intimate as possible. Therefore, please refer to your invite if you're able to bring a guest for the big day.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! We have a couple of registry items through our Zola website, online through Amazon and also at Bed Bath & Beyond.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a block of rooms reserved at Charley Creek Inn in downtown Wabash. Rooms are also available at the Holiday Inn Express on the north side of town.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is parking available around the church and reception venues.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

No, but our reception venue is only a block away from the Charley Creek Inn, where we have a block of rooms reserved.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

The couple will be taking post-ceremony pictures before the reception, which will begin at 5 p.m. Therefore, we'd recommend checking out downtown Wabash or the Honeywell Center.

Question

How far are the ceremony and reception venues from each other?

Answer

St. Bernard Catholic Church sits atop the Wabash Valley at the corner of Cass and Sinclair streets. Just down the hill, and over the railroad tracks, at the corner of Cass and Market streets is the Honeywell Center. Only about 1,000 feet separate the two. It will be a very short drive between the two.

Question

When should we arrive for the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 2:30 p.m., with the reception to follow at 5 p.m. Guests can begin to show up at 2 p.m. at the earliest.

Question

Will we have assigned seating for the cermony or reception?

Answer

No. Guests are welcome to sit wherever they'd like, excluding reserved pews or tables.

Question

Does the couple have hotel rooms blocked off?

Answer

We have a limited amount of hotel rooms blocked off for out-of-town guests at the Charley Creek Inn in downtown Wabash and the Holiday Inn Express near the intersection of U.S. 24 and State Road 13.
