Marquas! My Nephew! I find some sort of inspiration in all of my friends, but surprisingly I find the most inspiration in my nephew. Resilient , Leader, Overcomer are just a few words I can use to describe him. Not being in the same state as him while he was younger caused me to watch a lot of his growing up from a distance, but the love I have for him and his life progression has no distance. I hope I’ve become a good example for him, but really he’s a great example for me… & that’s regardless of life challenges, we OVERCOME! It’s a honor to have such a courageous young man stand beside me on my special day. It’s even more of a honor to be able to call that young man my nephew.

Even now, he’s such a great friend because he’s the type of person who will encourage you and let you know how great of a person you are regardless of how you may be feeling currently.
