In January 2017, Brittany and Eddie crossed paths at a local bar named “Stadium” through their mutual friend Jamaal Bufford. Despite an instant spark and attraction, they were both committed to other relationships at the time, so their connection remained unexplored. Fast forward to October 2018, Brittany was celebrating her birthday with friends, including Jamaal and Eddie. The evening was filled with laughter and genuine conversations, leading to a deepening connection between Brittany and Eddie as they shared stories about their childhoods and dreams for the future. Their timing wasn't right until March 2019 when they both found themselves single and ready to explore what had been simmering between them. Despite initial hesitations due to recent breakups and Eddie's plans to relocate from NE, their bond grew stronger. On July 9, 2019, during a heartfelt moment, Eddie serenaded Brittany with Big Time Rush's "Boyfriend," officially asking her to be his lady. Their relationship flourished, and by the fall of 2019, they took the big step of moving in together, solidifying their commitment. Their love story took another beautiful turn when Brittany discovered she was pregnant with Carlo Joseph Hernandez, their rainbow baby, in the fall of 2020. Carlo's arrival on March 19, 2021, filled their lives with immense joy and love, strengthening their bond even further. With a growing family and deepened commitment, Brittany and Eddie decided it was time to put down roots. In December 2021, they purchased their first home together in the Millard area of Omaha, NE, marking a significant milestone in their journey together. As their relationship continued to blossom, Eddie reached another milestone in June 2022, graduating with a Bachelor's in Cybersecurity. During a celebration surrounded by family and friends, Eddie surprised Brittany with a heartfelt proposal, officially sealing their love with an engagement.
