Details leavesDetails leaves

Wedding Party

Meet our friends and family who are walking down the aisle with us!

Ben Lohn

Best Man

Dylan and Ben met in college. They both had a passion for skiing and spending time outdoors. Ben’s genuine personality made it easy to build a strong friendship quickly, and 10 years later they are close enough that Ben and his wife had their small rescheduled wedding in Brittany and Dylan’s backyard.

Cady Clapp

Maid of Honor

Cady is the bride's sister. She will never fail to keep it real with "Beetle," but has loved and supported her throughout life's crazy journey. She has always been an idol to Britt, as well as a dear friend.

Andrei Loizeaux

Groomsman

Dylan and Andrei met in elementary school when Andrei transferred into Waldorf without knowing any English. They bonded during their times together in multiple different sports leagues. They continue to love competing together and were able to rack up over 50 Warzone wins during COVID.

Andrew Becker

Groomsman

Dylan and Andrew met as freshman in college when Dylan would bounce a basketball on his dorm floor, which was Andrew’s ceiling. This turned into a fun extracurricular activity, which believe it or not led to the two becoming roommates the next few years. Andrew is thoughtful and a great friend, with a great sense of humor.

Becca Weig

Bridesmaid

Becca and Brittany were roommates in college. They bonded over mutual love of pizza, margaritas, and being truly East Coast in a mountain town. Becca frequently gets asked, “so why do you like Baltimore so much?”

Catherine Campbell

Bridesmaid

Catherine is Brittany’s oldest friend. They grew up down the street from each other and met as kindergartners at Bryn Mawr. Over all the years, through different schools, states, and even countries, Brittany and Catherine have remained close. And now, despite never thinking it would be possible, they get to be neighbors in Homeland again!

Christian Olson

Groomsman

Christian and Dylan are cousins. They also had the fortune of being roommates in 2019 when Christian, Dylan, and Brittany all lived at Lorrie and Jake’s house. It was so fun that they started to call the house, “Camp 2421.”

Christina "X" Thompson

Bridesmaid

X and Brittany attended Bryn Mawr togther. They share a mutual love of animals, enjoying nature, traveling, and doing their best to better the world. X is the type of person that makes you feel like you are the only other person in the room with her. And she gives the best hugs of all time.

Ekaette Obot

Bridesmaid

Britt and Kae are fellow Mawrtians. Kae spent many hours throughout high school on the red couch at the Clapp household watching horror movies, eating Indian food, and making us laugh until we cried. Kae and Britt remained friends throughout college, and later were reunited in Denver for a period while Kae was in Americorps. Kae is now a rockstar attorney in Chicago, but never fails to stop by the Clapp household when she's in town.

Emily Gruttadauria

Bridesmaid

One day in 1997, Emily and Brittany showed up at the McDonogh barn wearing the same blue vest with ponies on it and later realized they had matching ponies as well, and the rest is history. Brittany and Emily likely peaked in the early 2000s when their sketch comedy show, "The Totally Normal Show," was created. If only TikTok existed at that time, we'd be famous. No matter what, Emy and Britt have laughed through the good times and the bad times, and will continue to laugh until they're old ladies.

Isla Gruttadauria

Flower Girl

Isla is the daughter of Emily and Stephen Gruttadauria. Isla's, "auntie BeeBee," adores her. They share a love of ponies, dancing, and time outside. Isla can't wait to be Auntie Beebee's Flower Girl at her and uncle Deedee's, "big dance party."

Josh Johns

Groomsman

Josh and Dylan became friends when they were sailing instructors together at the Downtown Sailing Center. They bonded over a shared love of Game of Thrones, and later spending time together in their wonderful neighborhood city of Canton. They’ve stayed friends over the years and continue to love spending time together outdoors.

Kirbi Spanbauer

Bridesmaid

Kirbi and Brittany became friends while riding together at the Wild Ranch Equestrian in Colorado. Brittany lived at the Spanbauer's for most of 2015 while continuing to compete her beloved Jack of Hearts. Kirbi and Brittany stayed friends even after moving 1700 miles apart because of horses, food, rosé, Disney, and general tomfoolery.

Lauren Schirle

Bridesmaid

Lauren and Britt met in 2009 when they lived together in the Wellness Living and Learning Community at DU. Lauren made sure that Brittany had homecooked meals throughout her years in Denver, and was always a part of her grand adventures. A few years after graduation, Lauren decided to attend graduate school at UMD to Britt's delight. Lauren loved Baltimore, and decided to stay, ultimately living as Brittany and Dylan's neighbor in Canton and later in Roland Park/ Homeland.

Makenzy Sufficool

Bridesmaid

Britt and Makenzy met at DU’s accepted students day. Both thought the other was a “single serving friend,” as they planned to attend different colleges in the fall. However, much to their surprise they ended up being neighbors in the Wellness Living and Learning community, after they both decided to ultimately attend Denver. They have remained friends through college, graduate school, and medical school; celebrating most Thanksgivings together.

Max Meneveau

Groomsman

Dylan and Max went to school together from kindergarten through middle school, and Max is one of Dylan’s oldest friends. Their families are very close and through high school spent a week together in Bethany in August. Max has remained a great friend and someone Dylan looks up to and admires.

Montana Blum

Bridesmaid

Montana and Brittany have known eachother since they were in elementary school, when Brittany started riding at McDonogh. They were reunited as adults when Montana was announcing the rings at horse shows Brittany was participating in with her horse Morgan. Montana commented how much fun Brittany and her farm were having, and Brittany invited Montana to join in. Brittany and Montana bonded during their long drives from Canton to Churchville. They have stayed dear friends over years and miles, and both are participating in eachothers weddings in 2022.

Riley Campbell

Groomsman

Riley and Dylan became friends through Brittany’s incredible friendship with Catherine, his wife. Riley’s easygoing and laidback nature are appealing to Dylan, as well as his willingness to be himself. Between outings to the Renaissance festival to weekend getaways, Dylan loves spending time with Riley. Dylan’s proposal to Brittany wouldn’t have happened without Catherine and Riley’s help.

Ruth-Ann Christie

Bridesmaid

Ruth-Ann and Brittany have been friends since elementary school at Bryn Mawr. Ruth-Ann's thoughtfulness and compassion for others has influenced Brittany's own life and social work pratice immensely. Ruth-Ann and Brittany have stayed close over the years, and are able to ride together at Woodbrook Farm with Lauren. Ruth-Ann is one of the few people that are trusted with the Clapp dogs, which says a great deal about who she is as a person.

Stephanie Sargent

Bridesmaid

Stephanie and Brittany met during freshman orienotation at the University of Denver. They stayed friends over the years, and ultimately moved in together in their senior year. Stephanie and Brittany love to laugh, live life with joy, and embrace the sunshine.

Stephen Gruttadauria

Groomsman

Dylan knew he liked Steve immediately when Emily introduced him. Steve was better at being an adult than anyone Dylan knew, and was better at being a kid than anyone Dylan knew. This combination made him a blast to be around. Steve is thoughtful, genuine, and hilarious, as well as an incredible husband and father.

Tasmine Prater

Groomsman

Taz and Dylan met while working at the Downtown Sailing Center. Over time, they became very close and now he feels like family. You can tell Taz is one of a kind when you receive his vintage postcards in snail mail. He is one of the most hardworking and brightest people Dylan knows. He will hopefully be able to join us from his Naval submarine on 4/9.
