Our favorite restaurant in Nashville. Japanese Izakaya restaurant with small plates, ramen, and good cocktails. According to Google Maps, it's in the "$$$" price range.
Best cocktails and cookies in town
Japanese. Only open for lunch Friday-Monday. We recommend going in parties no bigger than 4. Prepare to wait. It is VERY good and small. Grab a coffee at Flaura + Fauna while you wait and go shopping.
Hip Asian. To find the restaurant, look for the big Strawberry outside.
Spanish tapas and paella.
Upscale southern eatin' by Chef Sean Brock
If you want true southern cookin', look no further. Warning: you'll need to unbutton your pants after your meal. Served family-style, the menu changes daily. In the heart of Germantown.
We went here on our first date. Everything on the menu is delightful. Small place so get there early for breakfast/brunch or prepare to wait. They take reservations for dinner only.
French bakery recently opened by a French woman. Need we say more? Baguette sandwiches and croissants. Let's goooooooo.
Health be damned. Texas-style bbq so get the brisket.
West TN-style whole hog bbq. There are locations all over town so pick the closest place to you.
The only place Brittany will go downtown and only before 5pm. Old country. Get the recession special - Fried bologna sammy, potato chips, moon pie, & an ice cold PBR - all for $6. You can't even get a beer anywhere downtown for $6.
Take a walk on the mild side
You yankees don't get it but here you can try
Be a tourist
Great option to get outside and away from the crowded streets. About 8 miles SW of the city center.
Great spot for singer/songwriter performances. Located just south of downtown.
For those inclined to sightsee, this is your most convenient option.
