You cannot order ubers to the villa because it is too far from most cities so we are working with a shuttle company to pick our guests up and take them to their hotel or to the villa. The shuttle service will also pick up guests from their hotel and take them to/from the villa for the welcome party, wedding, and wine tour. Please fill out the travel survey on the back of your invitation insert to include where you will be staying before and after the wedding so we can help coordinate shuttle services to your desired destinations. Pisa International Airport or Florence Airport

If you are renting a car in Italy you need an international drivers license. You can get this at AAA. All you need is your valid drivers license and travel details. Tolls: When driving in Italy there may be toll roads. For tolls use the bigletto lane to receive a ticket at the beginning of the toll road. At the end of the toll road you will have to insert the ticket into the machine and pay via cash or card. Gas: Remember, gas is much more expensive in Italy, keep this in mind when calculating your cost. Some gas stations have attendants and they will fill up the car for you. You may need to pay with a card inside but cash outside to the attendant Rest Stops: If you are driving and need to use the bathroom, look for a roadsign that says restaurante. There you can park the car and use a free bathroom as well as buy an Italian snacks. There is usually a gas station nearby. Keep in mind that signs for these are RIGHT before you have to turn off for them so if you are looking for one, stay in the right lane.
