Chad and David grew up together in Laguna Niguel since they were in grade-school. Living only a few houses apart from each other, it wasn't uncommon for one to invite themself over to the other's house. They shared many a common interest; from video games to board games to Magic the Gathering. Essentially, they enjoyed equally whatever the other found from the comic book shop.

Melanie was my first roommate in college, little did we know we would become the best of friends and soulmates! 17 years later we have made the journey of becoming adults and working artists together- Melanie's love and support throughout has made me a better person for it.

Derek. Talker extraordinaire, digital nomad, and travel companion. Derek is the friend that encourages tough conversations to make sure you, his friend, is achieving what you want out of life. Having worked remotely from the US and UK, Derek is the explorer of the group and always tries to plan the next great adventure. The most recent travel locations were this past October where both he and David attended a board game convention in Vancouver Canada, and this past December where Derek rallied a small group to tackle skiing in Brian Head, Utah.

We met on a soccer field 27 years ago... as many great friendships go, we didn't like each other much at first. All was mended on a racquetball court in 7th grade when I finally played a sport well enough to be on Chanel's team. Chanel is unwaveringly the life of every party and was the catalyst for much of the grand and excelled experiences of my young adult life! Including forcing me to take AP classes and a couple trips to Europe.

The man of many skills, the greatest host, and most easy-going man in the world. Everybody loves Doug. His house has always been open to friends, and visiting Douglas was always David's first and last stop whenever he traveled the California coast.

Our friendship began before we were even born! Our families were neighbors while our mothers pregnant and we were born two weeks apart. We have had a life long friendship of summers spent building forts and being lazy kids, partying with our parents, quoting movies, having our first wine coolers, and going to summer camp and then becoming camp councilors. Holly is certainly the most entertaining friend I have ever had and I would consider her more family than just a friend.

We have been so lucky to have my brother Ben bring Ashley into the family! She is such a genuinely sweet human and it makes me so happy to see how in love and well she and Ben treat each other. Ashley always is a highlight of our holidays with her infectious laugh and large supply of champagne! I am so looking for to having having her as my new sister!

Another friendship built on the battlefield we called art school. James (AKA Fruffy) has been since freshman year always trying way too hard in class and making us all look bad. Now my coworker, he is still making me look bad by putting in way more effort than the rest of us! We have spent many a night drinking too much wine, painting till 4am, swing dancing and making endless inside jokes. I owe James much over the past few year, how many friends would let you live on their couch for six months while your life is falling apart and introduce you to your future husband in the process?

Dayna has always been there to help David steer away from sabotaging himself, whether it was letting his hair get too poofy or let his eyebrows slowly go "highlander" (i.e. "there can only be one"). She has always watched out for her little brother. They have a specific sense of humor that only certain siblings share. They continue to be in each other's lives through high and low and enjoy weekly board games nights together.

Chris is the most constant friend I could ask for. Over the past 17 years I knew I could always rely on him to answer 3am phone call after any kind of tragedy, a couch to crash on, and the most honest and intelligent opinion about art- all in a monotone voice sprinkled with well placed sarcasm. Chris is always keeps you on your toes with his ninja like comedy skills- making sure a good "thats what she said" is never missed.

My favorite little artist and niece! She is the sweetest little girl I have had the pleasure to watch grow into a sassy preteen! Bailey is always impressing me with her newest creation, making think I wasn't that good at her age. I love her annual summer visits to Laguna where we get to have adventures together.
