Who would've thought a simple follow on VSCO would lead to forever? Even though we grew up just 30 minutes apart, our paths didn’t truly cross until years later. It wasn’t until the summer of 2022 that fate (and a well-timed message) brought us together. Our first date was a hike at Pipestem State Park, and after that, we were pretty much inseparable. When summer came to an end, life took us in different directions: grad school in Huntington for me and a new job in Lewisburg for Cory. We spent the next three years navigating long distance. It wasn’t always easy, but every mile and every moment was worth it. One golden evening by the river in Huntington, Cory got down on one knee… and the rest is our forever.
