My beautiful Aunt has been like a second mother to me most of my life. As a child, I was always up under her. Even now, lol, I am quick to take up some of her space. Our favorite thing to do is drink coffee in her bed and watch Parking Wars while we catch up. We always pick up where we left off and laugh often. She understands me without me saying a word and loves me like I’m her own. She’s responsible for introducing me and Corey and supporting our relationship from the very beginning. My Capricorn Auntie/Sister/Friend holds me accountable and speaks my language. She is “My People.” She has a beautiful mysterious spirit about her that enjoys the simplicities of life. She loves traveling, especially internationally and photography. She enjoys watching pro games, playing golf, dancing and motorcycles.

Courtney and I have known each other since kindergarten 🤯 32 years ago! My Taurus sister exudes confidence with a taste for travels and the finer things in life. She’s so determined and focused. She’s a fashionista and trendsetter. We have watched each other blossom from children into womanhood. She has never wavered on our friendship nor has she ever left my side. Through all of life’s ups and downs, I have a Rollie for life in her. Courtney brings perspective, genuine support, laughter, adventure and spontaneity to our friendship. She is married to her husband, Ronnie and together they have a son, Kaleb.

Kedrin and I have known each other since 7th grade. Yup, 25 years ago. So many memories of growing up as teenagers 🙄 I am blessed to have a friend like her especially during the tough times of junior high. She is witty, light hearted and flows to the beat of her own drum. My balanced Libra sister brings a backbone, logical thinking, hilarious random thoughts/comments, a listening ear and genuine love to our friendship. Kedrin is married to her husband Chris and together they have a little girl, Imani and a baby boy, Kedari.

I met Britney later in life. She was my manager at a local funeral home and ever since the first interview we have been thick as thieves. We bonded instantly off our names, similarities and career. Not only did we grow together professionally, we celebrated each other’s victories and empowered each other through life’s disappointments turned blessings. My Scorpio sister is a straight shooter. A conqueror and Queen. She works hard and steps up to any challenge on the table. Britney brings unapologetic authenticity and humor to our friendship. She brings a level of understanding and never allows me to be hard on myself. I admire her strength and courage to unapologetically do/say what needs to be done/said. All of my girls are this way 💗

Adrienne and I have known each other for four years. When we bumped into each other there was an immediate “ Ase Namaste” moment. We vibed off of yoga and have been locked in ever since. Adrienne is a yoga instructor and Co- owner of Zencinnati Wellness Studio. I’ ve been with her from the beginning of her instructing journey and she has manifested it into Zencinnati. Super proud of her! My Leo Sister brings to our relationship authenticity and zen. She gives back to her community and always seeks to provide peace, love and understanding. We connect on a spiritual level with all things crystals, energy, manifestation goals and dreams. She is a sister I can dive deep with in convo and clarity. I am thankful for our connection. Adrienne is married to her husband Daronce and together they have two children, Zianna and Darien.

Ms. Sanii is my little cousin. I have watched her grow and mature her entire life. We have always have a bond that cannot be defined. My Gorgeous Leo cousin shines bright in her own way. A sophomore at Winston Salem, Sanii never settles for less. She works hard and is confident with any obstacle in her way. I will always have her back and will continue to encourage her to pave her own way. She brings a pure heart and laughter as she keeps me in tune with the happenings of the younger generations. She’s like the little sister I’ve never had.

Jeff is my cousin/brother that entered the world 4 months before me. And from that time til High school I think I followed this dude everywhere. The neighborhood football tackle games, the basketball shootouts, the video games, and even to school when I had days off in Charlotte. His family always treated me like the fourth boy in the family and to this day I continue to see this family man continue to show up for his own flock and I know continues to make his mom and dad proud from the heavens.

From the day after I moved to Greensboro, me and this dude have been thick as thieves. You couldn’t tell anybody we weren’t blood brothers. From the golf course to investing to the parties on campus to thinking we were 6’4 240 for anybody that wanted to bring problems to either one of us. Those twin boys know they can call Unc anytime and this dude knows I have his back forever and I know he has mine.

Although at rival high schools in the QC, I never connected with this dude until Freshman year in college. We were 5 dudes in his white pickup truck cruising campus and Raleigh like we ran the city. B was the most entrepreneurial out of all of us and has had a successful career in business, tv and a few movies. Iron sharpens iron and my NC State crew has always had my back. If the movie the Wood had a college version it would have been me, B, Zell, Dre, and Nique all day!

Little big bro has been my dude since I met him in my Home Care P&G days and he joined the Music Festival and Corporate Affinity Team event with me. One of sharpest and purest hearted dudes I know. I put his integrity up there with the top tier of people I know and I will always make sure he knows I have his back. This dude will pulverize a golf ball but has a heart of gold.

I met K through my boy Jarrod and ever since our days on the football field we have been thick as thieves. We support each other and fight each other like every good brother should. 14 days a part but bonded for life. When I needed to cruise the city or road trip, all I had to do was call my boy K and we were out. From Vegas to Seattle to Cincy to Mexico to Flint, I rock with this dude. Between the two of us I think we know everybody in the US. Ride or die and true to the game Scorpio brother, my boy with the Initial Name.

I met little bro when we needed a superstar logistics guy to help us launch Tide Pods. And when he left P&G to pursue other interest, I made sure we got him back 5 years later. J, is that total package little brother you ask for. Spiritually grounded, a good sounding board, loyal friend and football teammate. Him and KC made sure I got Back home in one piece after Basketball ejections. Another fellow Scorpio, but definitely raised right and true family man. I look up to this dude.
