To fly in, you have three options: You can fly into Chicago Midway International Airport (MWD) or Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD) in Chicago, IL. From these airports, you will have a two hour drive to Hartford, WI. These airports will likely have the cheapest flights. Flying into Milwaukee, WI is also an option. You will fly into General Mitchell International Airport (MKE) and you'll have a 45-minute drive out to Hartford, WI. Slightly more expensive, but a smaller airport that is usually uncrowded. Even smaller is Dane County Regional Airport (MSN) located in Madison, WI. This airport is about a 40-minute drive from Hartford, WI. Each airport has car rentals available. Both Chicago and Milwaukee have Amtrak stations.

We have a 15-room block at this cute inn in downtown Hartford. If you're looking for somewhere to stay where you can walk to bars and restaurants, this spot is the best choice. The inn is a ten minute drive from our venue. We will have a free shuttle available to take you to and from the wedding. When you call, let them know that you are booking for the Fernie/Miller wedding.

This hotel is also located in Hartford, WI, about ten minutes from our venue. A more economical choice, the AmericInn is a few minutes from downtown Hartford. Please book under the Fernie/Miller wedding block.

There are homes available to rent on both VRBO and Airbnb. Anything in Slinger, Hartford, or West Bend will be just ten minutes from our venue on Big Cedar Lake. There are limited options on Big Cedar Lake, but there are many lakes and homes nearby.

Shuttle From The Cobblestone Inn To The Ceremony

A shuttle will be running periodically from the Ceremony to West Best and back for those who forgot their dancing shoes :)

Camping Options

Pike Lake State Park is a beautiful, forested area located about 15 minutes from our venue. Camping spots will fill up quickly, so if this sounds like a good option to you, book now!
