LAX (Los Angeles)

There are a lot more times for flights flying into LAX, and it's usually cheaper to fly into. You could either rent a car or uber for the hour drive. It's a very busy airport though!

SAN (San Diego Airport)

Flights are sometimes cheaper going into San Diego and it's an easy small airport. You would have to rent a car and then drive an hour and a half, or take the train which is cheap and easy as well.

Airbnb or Vrbo

It might be cheaper to rent a place in or area the around. Especially if you can find a friend or family member to do it with, and if you want to make a vacation out of the trip!

Hotels

San Juan Capistrano is a beautiful quaint city, but there aren’t too many hotels to choose from. There is a new gorgeous Inn next to the mission getting built that you can look into. I suggest looking at hotels in San Clemente, Capo beach area, Dana Point, Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, or Huntington Beach. You can make a beach vacation out of your stay!
