Maid of Honor
Emiko is Brittany’s older sister. They’re only 18 months apart and it is rumored that they are twins, Brit was just left in the oven for a little bit longer. Brit and Emi were besties most of their life and from 3rd grade they started playing volleyball (we all know how that ends… it doesn’t). Emiko and Brittany played together in high school, against each other in college and now play adult rec volleyball in Hillsboro! Emiko currently lives with Brit and Brad while she goes to school at Pacific University for Physical Therapy. Fun fact: Emi has a scar on her right wrist from me :)
Best Man
Derek and Bradley have been friends since freshman year of college where they played baseball together and bonded over being the smaller guys on the team, but it didn't take long for each of them to prove that it didn't matter. After their freshman year of college, there was no breaking them apart as Bradley and Derek lived together for the rest of their college career. Outside of baseball, they watched a lot of love island, but if anyone asks…they were watching sports. If you get a chance at the wedding, ask Derek about his lip tattoo, he loves showing it off even though it was supposed to be gone 4 years ago.
Maid of Honor
Kimiko is Brittany’s youngest sister. Kimiko didn’t mesh with the Brit + Emi duo for quite some time but in high school everything took a turn and we couldn’t be more grateful to have her as a bestie. Kimiko is current studying to become a Fire fighter (1 year down!). Kimiko graduated from the University of Oregon in 2023 where she met her girlfriend and they both live in Denver Colorado now! Kimiko is the only Kahler kid who hasn’t attended Pacific University. Fun fact: Kimi once threw a large coral at my head in Hawaii 2007. I will never let it go.
Best Man
Chase and Bradley met at Pacific where they would end up playing up the middle together for three years, and win a championship their senior year! Bradley and Brittany play a card game called Pedro which has been played in Bradley’s family for generations. Chase and Bradley are partners in Pedro against Brittany and Chase's fiancé, Maddison. They play every time they get together. Fun fact: Chase and Bradley have let Brittany and Maddison win in Pedro for years so it keeps the game interesting (just kidding the girls are just really good).
Bridesmaid
Maddison and Brittany met playing volleyball at Pacific University in 2018. Although they did not talk or hang out much during that season, soon after in winter term, they became very close. their friendship took off when they took a surprise road trip to Spokane Washington and Maddison got a speeding ticket from Cop, Carl. That spring, Brittany was introduced to her future husband thanks to Maddison! She set up a game night so they could meet, and fast forward a couple of years, Maddison and Britt worked Bradley and Chases baseballs games together. They have a specific game they play together called Pedro. It’s been going on since 2020, and the couples have a tally of all wins and losses for the years. Right now Maddison and Brittany are up 4 series. Fun fact: Maddison and Brittany are filthy at Pedro (this year) Bonus fun fact: Maddison hung out with Emi her senior year of high school to see if she wanted to go to Whitworth University👎🏼. She ended up making the right choice :).
Groomsman
Brandon and Bradley met freshman year of college and played baseball together at Pacific for four years. Brandon was the only baseball player who lived in a different dorm than the rest of the baseball guys freshman year. Because of this, Brandon had a ton of FOMO (fear of missing out) so he would hang out with us until we basically kicked him out. From this, Brandon became one of Bradley’s best friends and they continue to live next to each other and hang out late into the night until someone kicks someone else out and they wouldn't have it any other way. At the wedding, ask Brandon about his weight lifting competitions. He is way too modest about it, he is actually actually one of the strongest people alive but he wont ever say it.
Bridesmaid
Nina and Brittany met in hygiene school at Pacific University and became best friends. Nina’s bubbly attitude and work ethic helped Brit through school and found such an amazing dental hygiene friend group. The hygiene girlies still get together every Christmas for a Secret Santa exchange and always have crazy patient stories to share. Nina and her Fiancé Nam are getting married next May🍾🥂 and are doggy parents to new puppy named Milo. Fun fact: Nina and I call each other Doctor instead of our real names. Ask anyone from hygiene school🦷
Groomsman
Jack (Murph) grew up playing baseball with Bradley from the age of 9, until they left for college. While everyone else was hanging out and enjoying their summers, all Murph wanted to do was work out, hit baseballs, then workout again. Once Bradley said yes to this the first time, there was no more backing out. Bradley and Murph were now bonded through hours and hours in the batting cage, which created a lifelong bond between two childhood buddies. Now Murphy is a Firefighter in Chico, CA saving people’s lives on the daily. Which just makes sense since hes the hardest working guy there is.
Groomsman
Kyle is Brittany’s older brother! He is currently finishing his Masters of Psychology at Pacific University. Kyle enjoys lifting weights, cooking, playing games and he can sure keep a plant alive. 🌱 Kyle’s super power is observing and has a very good read on people. So watch out Kyle is one of the nicest people you will ever meet…. Fun fact: Kyle can take 20 minutes to complete one origami crane. I think it was to get out of doing them.
Groomsman
Ben is dating maid of honor and sister, Emiko! They started dating shortly after Bradley and Brittany! After lots of dinners, game nights, and football Sunday’s, Ben and Bradley became family. After he proposes to Emiko, they officially will be! Hurry up dude... Fun fact about Ben, he played basketball at Whitworth for four years where he terrorized Pacific. We don’t like to talk about the Pacific part… He then played pro basketball overseas for three years in Finland, Bosnia, and Georgia
Groomsman
Groomsman + Officiant. Connor and Bradley met officially their freshman year of college. Both being on the Pacific University Baseball team and living down the hall from each other, they immediately bonded and realized that they both grew up not too far from each other. At orientation day of college, Bradley recognized Connor's dad Cliff, but he didn't really know where he knew him from. Turns out that Connor also grew up playing travel ball games at "Twin Creeks" where Bradley and Groomsman Jack Murphy also played travel ball games almost every weekend. Between the A's, their love of their hometowns, and the fact they both love a good adventure, they were always destined to be friends, it just took a trip up to Oregon to figure it out. When Bradley met Brittany sophomore year of college, Connor was always extremely supportive of their relationship and always made Brittany feel like she had been part of the group since Day 1. We couldn't think of a better person to be bringing us into the world of marriage than Connor!
