Bj and I met about 5 years ago while we were both working at the UT Health Center. We would chat when we came across each other at work as friends, but lost touch for about two years after he quit UT. We ended up reconnecting when I came across him on Facebook one evening. We became friends again for several months, until one day he asked me out on a date. I was so excited and nervous! I changed clothes about 15 times! Our first date was at Old Chicago in Tyler on February 26th, 2017. As soon as we started talking, all of the nerves went away. I felt like we had already known each other for years. We ended up sitting there talking for about 5 hours, and we could both feel that there was an intense connection right off the bat. Next thing you know, one and a half years had gone by, and then the best night of my life finally came. He asked me to marry him on August 7th, 2018 while we were on a family cruise. We were snuggled up in a chair on one of the decks enjoying the sunset, when he got down on his knee and brought out the ring of my dreams. I was in total shock, and beyond ecstatic that the most amazing man wants to spend the rest of his life with me! We will be getting married November 15, 2019! It took us a little while to find each other, but time is a small price to pay for a lifetime of joy. We can hardly wait to start this next chapter in our lives, and we are so excited that all of you will be there to share our special day with us!
We've lived together quite a while, we've got our pots and pans, So as we don't need any homely gifts, we've got another plan We know it's not traditional, and not the usual way it's done, But rather than a wedding list, we'd love a bit of sun So if you'd like to give a gift, and help send us on our way, A donation towards our honeymoon, would really make our day The choice, however, is really yours, and we would like to say, That the best gift we could receive, is you, here, On our most special day!
